Project Details

For BioCon Pharma’s Biocon House Facility at Bengaluru, Studio Axis set out to design workspaces that feel precise, comfortable, and visually calm to create an environment that naturally supports focus and steady productivity. NEWMAT India was entrusted with bringing this vision to life through its double-layer translucent stretch ceiling system paired with the Osram BA M CP G5 3000K LED system and DALI drivers.This integration creates a seamless, warm illumination that supports productivity while elevating the architectural character of the interiors.

One of the most striking expressions of this vision appears in both the circular meeting room and the main boardroom, where NEWMAT’s translucent ceilings form a soft, continuous plane of light. In each space, the diffused glow reduces glare, enhances clarity, and brings a warm, contemporary calm — ideal for focused discussions, presentations, and collaborative thinking.

 

As the installation took shape, the difference it made was immediately appreciated. What began as work in two areas soon expanded into additional spaces, as the client recognised the quality, precision, and quiet beauty that NEWMAT introduced to their environment. And beyond the expanded scope, even the CEO chose to bring the same NEWMAT configuration into his own office, a quiet yet clear acknowledgment of the elegance and impact NEWMAT consistently delivers.
